Three major state museums are collaborating for the first time to create a joint exhibition: a large, widespread exhibition that tells the story of over two thousand years of Roman history through money, one of the most powerful instruments of political, economic, ideological and cultural representation developed by the West.

The itinerary is divided into three chronological sections:

  • the ancient era at the National Roman Museum - Terme di Dicoleziano;
  • the Middle Ages at the Roman Fora - Tempio di Romolo;
  • the modern and contemporary eras at VIVE - Sala Zanardelli.
